History
The last I heard Crosby, Stills, and Nash that is all they were, but now they've added Neil Young, and it's a great addition. This album generated three hit singles along with topping the charts for weeks. It has sold 7 million copies, and even made an appearance on Rolling Stones Greatest Album of all time. Even more astounding is the 800 hours of time it took to record this album. It is also attributed for helping the artists' solo careers afterward also.
My Thoughts
The addition of Neil Young was definitely a good one. I really enjoyed this album, and much more than the one from Crosby, Stills, and Nash. It's one that I be coming back to later. I'm not sure if it's just the phase I'm going through or not, but I am liking the folk sounds of the 70s. Yesterday there was Cat Stevens, and today this band. Even though this was labeled under pop at the time of it's release. I am looking forward to hearing the solo projects from these guys.
